This LGBTQIA+ owned small candle business is located in Seattle, WA. where responsibility, creativity, and inclusivity are the driving forces behind every decision. We hope our custom blends of soy wax candles help elevate your environment and give you moments of Aromatic Indulgence.
Responsibility
Sustainability is top of mind. We use eco-friendly materials in our handcrafted soy wax candles, the wax is non-toxic and clean-burning wax, the cotton wicks are unbleached, and the fragrance oils are free of health hazards such as carcinogens, and mutagens. The packing peanuts used in shipping packages are biodegradable and dissolve in water. Please reuse or recycle candle jars after your indulgence.
Creativity
Our candles serve as an outlet for creativity and within that creativity is a process where meticulous product testing is done and precise changes made to ensure our candles, ultimately, provide an aromatic experience for you that is comforting and nostalgic. With the end customer in mind and months of testing prior to launching this business, the goal was to create candles that are safe to burn with enjoyable custom blends that are just as unique as all of us.
Inclusivity
Candles are used to help elevate a space, whether that space is for times of celebration or times of relaxation. Our hope is that no matter the occasion, Aromatic Indulgence’s candles are seen as a symbol of inclusivity, bringing people together to enjoy each other’s company. With each flame, we hope the aromas of the candle help people feel valued, respected, and safe in their environment.
Meet the Maker
Hello, I’m Peter, the heart and soul behind Aromatic Indulgence Candle Company. Born and raised in Reno, NV, and an Oregon State University Alumni, I now find myself calling Seattle, WA home; being continuously inspired by this vibrant city and the lush wilderness that surrounds it. After experiencing a corporate layoff, I turned to the craft of homemade candles as an outlet for stress relief; and what started as a passionate hobby has now flamed into an exciting business adventure. However, the true fuel behind the flaming dream of sharing my artisan candles was the feelings of joy and captivation that arose from others when I shared and gifted my candles. Each soy wax candle I pour is a labor of love and I hope the SCENTsations of the candles transport you into a place of tranquil and aromatic relaxation.
Mental health matters, there are many struggles that we all face in our daily lives. With the gentle glow of my candles, I aim to create a warm reprieve from life’s daily challenges. I hope that my candles provide comfort, where one is able to find solace and feel safe in their environment. Remember to speak kindly to yourself, nourish your body, and go to therapy; struggling with mental health can feel isolating, but just know you are not alone. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I believe it’s our responsibility to celebrate diversity, promote inclusion, and encourage others to embrace their unique identities.
